Surfboards

I created each of these pieces on retired surfboards that were no longer rideable. I am currently only creating surfboards on a custom order basis. Price runs anywhere from $350 – $750 depending upon complexity of design and I typically need about 3-4 weeks lead time.

The mirror pieces covering the mosaic surfboards are a mix of unplanned breaks and deliberately hand-cut pieces puzzled together to form a beautiful ocean scene. When sunlight hits the mirror mosaic, it will reflect its pattern onto opposing surfaces and spread the sunshine. In dim lighting it sparkles like the ocean at night. The mirror mosaic boards are a new piece of art every time you view them thanks to the ever-changing content of their reflections.

Paintings

This is where it all started. I’ve loved to paint ever since I can remember. After more than ten years working in oils I tried my hand at acrylics which I now use most often but I still dabble in a wide array of mediums. After a long day of painting petraits, I’ll still turn to the canvas in my free time to let loose with an abstract texture etching or escape with something unplanned & surreal. Most of these have already been sold or are not currently for sale. If you’d like to commission a piece just drop me a line.
